About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie and I am already excited to meet you. I spent four years as a camp counselor for ages 6-18, have worked multiple child care jobs with ages infant-12, have served as a childcare volunteer at my church for years working with infants and toddlers, and am an aunt to nine nieces and nephews. I have my bachelor's degree in psychology and have worked full time in care for adults with special needs. I am looking for a position with 25-32 hours per week as I return to school to get my Master's Degree in mental health counseling. I have my own vehicle, do not smoke, and have education in child development. My personality is relaxed and playful, but I am aware of when to be firm and hold true to family standards. I am happy to be around pets too. In my free time, I like hiking, crocheting, reading, and journaling. I am located in 80127, but looking to relocate and am open to opportunities in Denver, Golden, Lafayette, and beyond!
