About Jessica

Let me tell you about why I would make a great nanny for your child(ren). I have worked with children from infants to middle schoolers in various settings, from day care and day camp programs, to school settings as a classroom helper and small group leader. I am currently in the process of becoming a licensed teacher, so I'm looking for temporary work that will continue to let me work with children while I search for a teaching job. For the past three years, I have volunteered in a first grade classroom working with small groups and individual students on their English, math, and science. I have my specialization in English, so if your child needs tutoring, I would be able to provide that in addition to my other nannying duties. For the past two summers, I have worked in a fun and exciting day camp program in which I have helped design and plan crafts, games, and activities for school age children. Prior to that I worked at a day care center with infants and preschoolers. As my previous experience attests, I am dedicated to becoming the best child care provider I can be and looking forward to a fun summer!
