I am a 40-year-old who loves to work with children from infants to school age, I find it amazing how young minds work. Through pretend play, you can learn so much about a child's interests and use those interests to engage with them. As a teenager, I was a babysitter for four girls from newborn to age 4, the duration was at least five years. I also took care of my niece who is blind throughout her childhood. I have a 5 1/2-year-old boy with Autism which entails patience, ABA techniques, a great deal of praise and constant engagement. Before he was diagnosed, I worked full-time in the IT industry in Boston and decided to become a stay-at-home mom for my son. I have two boxers, now 8 years old. In the past, I have helped my sister with several pet sitting jobs and learned a lot from her. I have my own vehicle for any errands that you would need. The following are just the things I enjoy such as cooking, food shopping, doing arts and crafts, doing laundry and playing board or card games. I can run errands and odd jobs.
