I had the opportunity to assist an elderly man with dementia who was a dear friend. We would go for rides to places he used to enjoy and talk about memories that would arise while his wife, also a friend of mine, would go to appointments or shopping. I also cleaned for them (and a few others). I'm willing to prep meals, run errands or address other needs as well. As I've cared for children over many years, I have come to realize that caring for elderly has a special place in my heart as well.
