About Michaela

Hello there! My name is Mikki. I have a B. A in Music Education from UMass Lowell where I also minored in Disability Studies. I am currently in the graduate Music Therapy program at Lesley University where I will receive a dual-licensure of MT-BC and LMHC upon completing the program. I am also a certified infant, toddler, and preschool teacher through the EEC and worked in daycare during and after my undergraduate degree. I believe that learning should be fun and that the arts, especially music, are a wonderful tool to combine creativity and education. Every child learns differently and at their own pace, and I abide by the "no child left behind" policy so that every single person can learn. In my free time, I love to play with my cat named Rune, make music with my guitar or flute, crochet, and do lyra.
