About Micah

Hello! I'm Micah, a Midwestern kid turned LA resident. In 2019, I moved to California with a few friends to enjoy the sunshine, outdoors, and of course, the people. I have extensive childcare experience, from babysitting, nannying, and tutoring to working with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program of Los Angeles. Fostering a caring and supportive environment for children isn't just a job, but an experience I love. I'm a curious, adventurous, and energetic person who believes in showing future generations some of the incredible things this world has to offer while encouraging a sense of responsibility and empathy. In my free time, you can find me out on my surfboard, at the movies, or in the vicinity of any and all dogs. I like working with kids because children are our future, of course! They have so much to offer the world, and need an environment where they can learn as much. My skills include tutoring math and English, outdoor skills and interests, and reading aloud.
