About Micaela

Hi, I'm Micaela! I am a 24-year-old 7th grade Spanish teacher at Mason Middle School. I graduated from Xavier in 2020 with my degree in Spanish and k-12 education. I have taken coursework about childhood development, worked with children in school settings, and have 10+ years experience caring for children ages >1-13. When I am not teaching, I love to spend time outside, play with my dog, and stay active. I would love to spend the summer with your kids and help them get outside, play, and do lots of different activities, such as sports, crafts, and trips to museums/ parks. I have reliable, safe, and kid- friendly transportation and a clean driving record. I am FBI/ BCI background checked annually due to my job and can provide documentation of that if requested. I am comfortable helping out around the house with dishes, meal prep, errands, etc. Also, I can help out with car pool, pick ups and drop offs, play dates, etc. I am passionate about caring for kiddos and helping them grow!
