About Mia

I've always had a passion for nurturing children, which led me to become a childcare provider. With three years of experience, I'm adept at caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens. My friendly and patient nature puts children at ease, allowing me to engage them in educational and enjoyable activities. As a second oldest of six children, I'm skilled at enforcing household rules while maintaining a positive and nurturing environment. I believe in open communication with parents and provide regular updates on their child's day. I'm also happy to assist with tasks like cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, carpooling, and travel. I took First Aid Training and CPR through the Red Cross Babysitting Course a few years ago and plan to re-certify soon to ensure the safety of the children in my care. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I'm also able to engage children with technology-based games and apps.
