Caring And Fun Nanny

(1)
My name is Shyanne C , and I have many years of experience working and caring for kids! When I was a teenager, my mother ran a small daycare in our home for over 6 years. I always enjoyed helping with all of the kids, especially the babies! I studied child development, and child care in high school. I went on to major in Elementary Education in college, but ultimately decided it wasn't the right career for me. Most of my work experience has actually been in customer service and sales, but I also love to work on the side nannying my nieces, nephews and friends' children. I have recently enrolled into college again (online) for business and hope to one day open my own preschool! I am looking forward to gaining even more experience working with children in advance of that. I will be happy to help with distance learning if needed! I'll wear a mask if you'd like, and I am very sanitary so the children and I will be washing our hands often! I can also help with light cleaning, errands+ :)

My kids love Shyanne!! My son is 5 and my daughter is 2 and she has watched both of them since they were babies. I have a hard time trusting people with my kids but Shyanne is awesome. She is honestly one of the only people I feel completely comfortable leaving them with. My husband and I even went to St George overnight last year, and she watched them all weekend with no issues!

We have one spot available for a one, two, or three year old!!!

We are a mother/daughter run in-home childcare center located in Sugarhouse, Utah. We opened our doors September 2nd, 2014 and enroll children from ages six weeks old through school age. We offer a preschool program that teaches children number and letter recognition, how to write their names, early reading skills, social skills, and much more! We do fun science experiments, exciting art projects, and lots of outdoor play! We also, of course, take care of all daily needs such as providing meals, diaper changes, potty training, naps, free play, hands-on activities, and much more!

LeeAnn is a loving mother and wife. She has been raising her own kids for over 25 years as a stay-at-home mom! Once her kids were grown, she decided that it was time to enter back into the workforce. She knew so much about caring for kids and loved being around them, so it only seemed natural to enter the field of childcare! She is highly creative and some of her passions include crafting, planning, listening to music, and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Rob, live with their fur babies, Jack and Milo! LeeAnn enjoys rainy days, her favorite shows, being in her craft room, and reading! In the future, she sees herself continuing to create and follow her passions!

Alex has been working professionally in childcare for over seven years. She has always loved being around kids, even when she was still one herself! She started babysitting as soon as she possibly could, at age ten, and hasn't stopped since. Childcare is the only field she can see herself working in. In her free time, she loves to be with her friends and family, including her adorable fur babies, Ollie, Lucy, Kingsley, and Phineas! She loves reading, photography, writing, music, fall weather, and watching her favorite shows. In the future she sees herself continuing the path of working in childcare and having a family of her own!

Both caregivers are certified with food handlers, CPR, and First Aid!

Email is the best way to get in contact with us! You are also welcome to text! We don't typically take phone calls. We have quite a few people emailing, so responses aren't instant but we reply as soon as we can!

We are very lucky to have found Alex and LeeAnn. Our son has been loved and cared for by Doodlebug for over a year. He is 2 now and talks about his friends and activities he does, and we can tell he enjoys his time there while we work. They take careful precautions during the current pandemic, and we feel safe dropping our son off. Even during the early stages of the COVID pandemic, Alex would deliver crafts and activities to our door. They are a great family to be part of.
