About Mia

Fitness: Apart from being a former US Army soldier in the medical field, I've ran track and field ever since I was 13. Core workouts have a special place with me but I'd love to coach your child through cardio and endurance. These skills easily translate over to conquering anxiety and conflict in everyday life. Remembering you shaved a few minutes off your personal best is always encouragement to keep going! Breathing techniques are essential as well. Science: Biology was my favorite subject in class and I'm a very colorful note taker. It can be intimidating looking at all the systems that don't ever change because that's just the way the body is designed. I would love to dismantle the stigma against science by teaching your child how to make an anatomically correct skeletal system into a fun arts and crafts activity.
