I'd describe my personality as calm, down to earth and reliable. I like caring for seniors because I had a close relationship with my own grandparents. I enjoy spending time learning about their life experiences. It is rewarding to support an older individual that is feeling isolated from their community or experiencing daily living challenges. I'm looking for a job that offers an opportunity to assist others in achieving a better quality of life. I started caring for seniors when I worked as a client advocate with a home care company. Daily, I worked to ensure that services met expectations and clients felt respected and cared for by the caregiver. In spare time, I enjoy hiking, biking, camping, and walking my dog, One thing you should know about me is I take my work responsibilities seriously. I prioritize timeliness, integrity and reliability. My skills include demonstrating compassion/empathy, active listening and being proactive in identifying any concerning issues.
