About Melissa

I'd describe my personality as attentive, kind, and friendly. I like caring for seniors because I have a strong sense of care taking and great respect for clients and their independence. I'm looking for a job that is busy, engaging, and variety. I like to stay busy and be helpful. I started caring for seniors when my mom became terminally ill. I cared for her for 10 years and provided hospice care for her. I then helped other family friends parents as they needed supports. In my spare time, I like to rock hunt, read, and play card games. One thing you should know about me is I'm dedicated to helping people and listening to their needs and goals. My skills include active listening, emotional intelligence, and empathy.
