Hello! My name is Sydney, I'm 22 years old and I just moved to Humboldt county! I have over 3 years of experience working one on one in personal elder care. Having the opportunity to listen, entertain, and care for my previous client was one of the greatest privileges of my life, and in my time working with her I fell in love with the act of caregiving. My previous job involved feeding, changing, doing housework for, and entertaining a wonderful 90-year-old woman. She was bedridden, and mostly unable to move, so my job description included changing her briefs, giving her medications, preforming hygiene care including bed baths, and cooking and feeding her.
