About Megan

My name is Megan and I am 24 years old and a Mathematics major at Hartford Community College in Bel Air, MD. I am graduating in December with an associates in Mathematics and plan to attend a local university so that I can commute. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa which is the honors society for community colleges. I love working with children of all ages. I worked for the YMCA in a before and after school care program for 5 years but decided not to work the school year just the summer this year so that I can focus more on academics and graduating. At the YMCA I worked with children in grades K-5 and helped with their homework everyday. I just love being able to be a part of a child reaching a goal. It makes me feel really amazing that I helped them achieve what they wanted.
