I have extensive experience working with children through being a preschool teacher, babysitting for multiple families, assisting in elementary classrooms, & working at an infant/toddlers center. In addition to experience I'm educated on current practices and information as I finish my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Aside from education and experience I am extremely devoted to providing the best care for each & every child. Some of my traits such as organization, time management, attention to detail, kindness, patience, creativity, & hard work contribute to me being a perfect fit for education & caregiving. I am a firm believer in learning & tending to the unique needs, likes, & behaviors of each child as well. In my little free time I love all things Disney, hiking, reading, & hanging out with my friends!

Marissa is the absolute best sitter. Period. We originally hired her via a referral from a friend a few years ago and after that she became our go-to, sitter (at least once a month on average). She always brought activities, games and crafts, and genuinely made my school-aged daughter so excited for all of her visits! “When are you and Dad going on a date so Ms. Marissa can come over again,” was a question posed pretty regularly! (Using past tense because we sadly had to move- we miss her so much!). She is so professional, sends great updates, and is just overall the sweetest person ever! Her ability to connect with kids is amazing. Absolute highest recommendation!
