About Marina

Hi! I am 31 years old with 3 degrees. I have an Associates in English from Glendale Community College (2017), a BA in Literature and Writing with a concentration in Creative Writing from Cal State San Marcos (2020) and a MFA in Creative Writing with a focus in Poetry from Goddard College (2023). I have worked as a Teacher's Assistant/Office Clerk for a K-12 charter school and just recently came back from London where I was a Program Leader for high school students. That job entailed creating and leading creative writing workshops, proofreading student's work and chaperoning. I have a passion for helping students succeed academically. I have worked in student life while I was in undergrad. I have a positive attitude and outlook on life to help others see beauty in their work and life. I also have 2 years of paid experience helping with the elderly. I helped with errands around the house, tidying, cleaning, laundry and cooking, running errands and engaging in activities.
