I have several years working and volunteering with children of differing abilities, both in the home and school programs. I have worked with children who are deaf, hard of hearing, Austistic and language delayed. I would love to find a position utilizing my understanding of Child Development and special needs as well as incorporating American Sign Language. I really love early intervention and hope to someday get a MA in Early Intervention for Deafness. I have been involved with the Deaf community for 8 years and feel very strongly about a deaf child's right to access American Sign language early in life.
