About Maria

María ("Coco") has cared for my grandchildren for almost ten years, first as the nanny of my son's four children, and then as the nanny of my daughter's son, who is now beginning preschool. I could not recommend her more highly. Coco is a warm, capable, mature and level-headed woman whom I would trust with the children in any emergency. I respect her knowledge and her common sense, and enjoy her sense of humor. She quietly steers the children to do what they need to do. She has engaged my daughter's son with little art projects, games and books at home, and took the initiative to bring him regularly to the child development classes for caretakers and toddlers at College. The children love her. She is leaving our family only because we have no more babies for her to help bring up, and she will be a wonderful addition to the new family that finds her.
