Child Care

I am a very outgoing person and adore all of the infants and children that I am lucky enough to care for. I typically hope that each family that I help take care of their child will eventually see me as family because I believe that' s a very important relationship to have with one another. I come from a very big Irish family, where taking care of each other is our main priority, and I have adopted this ideal to be a part of each of my clients family's lives. I am a very adventurous person and like to allow children to see and be engrossed in nature, as well as singing and playing in the house. Starting with relatives' and close friends' children, I have now been working with clients from care. com for about 6 years, and I have loved them all. I work many with kids that have autism, and I am infant and pediatric certified in first aid, CPR and recovery. I am a double major in nursing and psychology, as well as having courses in child development. Proficient in American Sign Language.

We loved Cat from the moment we interviewed her. She has a lot of experience and is very knowledgeable about child development, which helped us since we're first time we parents. She was very patient, gentle, and kind with our 5 month old and she watched her until covid-19 happened. Still to this day, we can't get our daughter to nap as well as Cat did.... She has the magic touch. We miss her dearly and we plan to use her again in the future!

Full-Time Child Caregiver

My name is Nancy. I am a matured lady, responsible and caring nanny. I have six years of experience looking after babies and toddlers. The one thing I love most about being a nanny is I enjoy taking care of children. My duties are caring, playing, feeding and taking the baby out for walks outside. I also keep playing areas clean, wash and put away babies clothing, clean bottles. As they grow older and i am able to eat solid, I help the babies to do that and read and sing also. My last employment was taking care of a baby at age 2 months and she is 18 months now. Her parent decided to enrolls her in play school and thus my service was no longer required. I know I can provide the care and love for your child and wish to assure you that I offer my best service. I also perform light housekeeping, such as laundry, putting dishes in dish washer and putting them away when baby naps.

Nancy is THE BEST nanny we could have hoped for. She is such a good, caring person and we feel truly blessed to have had her as part of our life. She took care of our little one for over two months (full time), always with a smile, great energy and just an overall reassuring "motherly" attitude. She is very reliable and knowledgeable on babies' different growth stages (dealt amazingly with teething, gas and solid food tasting), and bottom line our baby (and us!) are just in love with her! Can not give a warmer recommendation.

Your Child's Favorite Nanny And Best Friend

(9)
I have worked as a nanny for over 10 years. I have worked in families with one child, as well as twins, I have accomplished a variety of things through my career as a nanny. With my help, children began to speak and identify things that surrounds them to sing and dance, to do crafts accordingly to their age from hand painting to clay construction to potty train, to eat neatly and more. I am now looking for a new family that needs the help of a kind and caring nanny full-time. I have two grown up children of my own who are now college students. My main quality is endless love for kids. I love to help children develop and observe how with my help they obtain knowledge and life's experience. My characteristics are professional, punctual, responsible, energetic, friendly, patient, quick and neat. I am an excellent cook. I have no bad habits. I have excellent references and I easily adapt to any family's lifestyle. I am willing to give children my heart's warmth, love, care and friendship.

Lilia provides an extra level of care that makes it easy to feel confident as a parent. Not only does she put her heart into what she does, she approaches childcare with thoughtfulness and a sense of learning and development, as well as creativity. She's also willing to take on extra work-I was more than happy to have our daughter with Lilia. Our daughter immediately took to Lilia and it was such a comfort knowing she was in caring, capable and experienced hands. As an added bonus she made amazing healthy home-prepared food. We would highly recommend her!

Our son is our 2nd child to go to Hungry Caterpillars and we feel so lucky to have found them! Our daughter, who has since moved on to preschool, was always so happy to get there in the morning that she would run inside and shut the door in my face! She was very well adjusted and ready for preschool when she transitioned. Our son is having a very similar experience. He loves everyone there and is developing very well. The space is great with many materials that foster learning and growth, and they provide nutritious meals -including breakfast which makes mornings much easier for us as parents! We highly recommend Hungry Caterpillars to any young SF families!
