I have worked in childcare for over 10 years and love getting to know each child's individual little personality! In college at UC Berkeley, I worked with young children in the Infant Cognition and Language Lab. After my BA, I worked as a lead teacher in two separate preschools and then moved on to my own nanny business a few years ago. I love to explore and adventure with children! Long walks, park trips, and ocean visits are all outdoor experiences I highly value. I also love to create craft projects for kiddos and really love incorporating how science is involved in everything we do: One of my favorite projects I've done with preschoolers is melting crayons on a hot plate (safely, of course) - it's art and physics in one activity! I never underestimate the power of a great dance party, a goofy moment, and a listening ear. I'm always respectful of parent's wishes, kids' needs, and myself. I aim to bring you and your child responsible, caring, and all around excellent childcare.

We hired Taylor for a last minute date night and it worked out great. She seemed very at easy and experienced around our children and answered all of our questions with great confidence. Our 10 and 3 year olds both took to Taylor immediately, and even though it was only less than an hour before bedtime (which Taylor handled like a pro), they both asked about her in the morning. Would definitely hire again!

I have been a nanny since 2010, when I came to NY to work as an Au Pair, just after I became a Lawyer in my home country. I took care of twins (2-month-old) and their older sister (4 y/o) until 2011. After my Au Pair year got to an end, I work with another family in NY as a live-in nanny. I took care of 2 boys (1 and 5 y/o) until 2012, when I moved to SF for my Master degree (finished in 2013). And I have been working in SF as a babysitter/nanny with more than 10 families for the last +4 years. So my experience goes back to +9 years. A bit more about me: I am a loving, responsible, reliable, respectful person who also loves reading, teaching, music (I play mandolin) and dancing. I am CPR child/adult certificated, I like pets, I am up to date with my vaccines including the flu shot. I have experience helping babies and parents establishing/improving daily routines that are fit to the particular needs and personality of each baby as for the parent/s lifestyle. Thanks for reading.

My daughter loves Yoselin, and so do we. She is warm, friendly, and knows about fun things to do in the neighborhood. She takes my daughter to museums and playgrounds and for walks. She prepares healthy snacks and meals, does my daughter's laundry and clears up any mess made during the day. and handles tantrums in a respectful, kind, but no-nonsense manner.

Experienced Nanny

(6)
Hi, my name is Gladys. I am married and have been living in Daly City for 10 years. I have 10 years of childcare experience. I used to work with a family as primary caregiver to a girl of 9 months and a boy of 2 years (for a year and a half), in addition to basic domestic maintenance. What began as a domestic position grew into a dual position that worked very well, as the boy was in school most of the day. The important part of my success with this family was we all understood the same goals, as well as sharing a mutual belief that care-giving was my first and principle job. At this pace, we were able to learn a good schedule. I have worked in the last 10 years from $20 an hour to $30 an hour. I am experienced, educated, CPR and First Aid certified and speak Spanish/English. I am looking for a full time job with childcare and light housekeeping. I am available to start working right away. I have great references. I love the bubble that small children live in.

Gladys has been the full-time nanny for our son for 2.5 years. We couldn't have hoped for a better nanny. Our son adores Gladys, and often waits at the window for her to arrive in the morning. He's grown up to be a friendly and polite little boy, very much thanks to Gladys. She's very calm, warm and patient, which has rubbed off on our child. We're constantly in awe at Gladys's ability to make him happily do the little things that often become a struggle, like eating healthy food, tidy up his toys, and go to sleep by himself without protest. Gladys is punctual and dependable, and communicates well. Her focus is always 100% on our son throughout the day, which is rare today when most people are distracted with their phones or tablets. She takes her job very seriously, and regularly attends seminars and classes on child-care in the weekends, sharing with us what she's learned as well. She's got great integrity, and we feel that we can trust her completely.
