Tutor, Available Most Day For All Ages.

Responds within a day
Hello, I graduated from UCSB at age 20 with a BS in Mathematical Sciences and a minor in Statistical Sciences. I am part of the 2022 MS Biostatistics cohort at UCSD. Math is and always has been my favorite subject in school. I really look forward to sharing my passion with others. While mathematics is my specialty, I am able to tutor in all subject areas. My first job involved working with all ages, as a figure skating instructor. For about a year I was involved in the special needs program; in addition, I've tutored several students with ADHD and am sensitive to different learning styles. My current position is as a distance learning tutor for grades: 1, 2, 4, 5, 11. I aim to help children regain their confidence and aid his/her comprehension and academic fluency. Thank you for your consideration. Tianna

I just love, love, love Tianna! It was definitely one of the best and beneficial decisions I could have made for not only my kids, but my family. Being I had an infant during her time of employment she was so helpful, tutoring my other children and feeding them lunch while also giving them some outdoor time while my hands were more than full. Tianna was a real blessing and I was so sad she could not move with us when we left! She is very, very punctual and will go the extra mile without even having to be asked. Her professionalism was impeccable for somebody of such a young age and it was one of my favorite characteristics of hers. She also is very warm and welcoming and gets along with children really easy!

Science And Language Loving Tutor/caregiver

Hi! I'm Neal, a recent college grad with experience in linguistics, foreign languages, biology, and engineering who loves teaching children about the world around them. In the past, I've worked as a camp counselor at the Delaware Aerospace Academy and as a tutor and caregiver for elementary- and middle-school aged kids. I love learning new things and inspiring a love of learning in the younger generation. I'll bring interesting facts and new findings to my lessons, incorporating my love of languages, nature, reading, and beyond! I am passionate about creating a safe, fun, and interesting environment in which your little ones can learn.

I first met Neal in the spring of 2017. He was an undergraduate student at Haverford College and a close personal friend of my niece, who was studying at Haverford at the time. Neal became a regular fixture in our lives, and I often enlisted his help in entertaining my 2 children, Eleanor (13) and Silas (10). He has a strong rapport with children and the kids found him interesting and engaging. He was never short on energy or ideas, and the kids enjoyed every adventure they had together. Based on Neal's unique ability to interest and engage my son, we also enlisted his help with tutoring in various subjects. Over the years, my family and I came to know Neal extremely well and I cannot recommend him highly enough . He is an extremely smart, engaging, and adaptable person of strong character. I have absolutely no doubts about his extraordinary personal attributes and potential to mold and guide young people in any capacity.
