Hello! I am a warm, pleasant, caring, responsible, positive, hardworking, and energetic person who enjoys working with children. My hobbies include reading, jogging, and swimming! I worked with children for about 27 years as a teacher. We need to give tender loving care for children to bloom. We need to watch them at all times for safety reasons. I give positive feedback when children ask questions. I know plenty of children's songs and provide interesting activities for them. I am seeking a date night nanny position during the night and weekends. I am also a member of a Rescue Team from a fire department. Thank you so much for your attention!

Vivien was an incredible caregiver for both of our children (2 year toddler and almost 1 year infant). She was always responsible with their safety and cared deeply about their well-being. She'd often even bring gifts based on their developmental needs. She was always attentive to both of them throughout the day and played music / danced with them, took them to the local park, read books to them, and played with them constantly. Our children loved Vivien very much and we'd highly refer anyone work with her.

Vivien was very on top of things and magically got both our children to sleep when we had a night out.  No nonsense and sweet with the girls, although there was a slight language barrier at times. Would hire again and recommend!

Vivien is wonderful!! Vivien watched our 16 month old son for one week this summer while our nanny was on vacation. I was so impressed by her focus on reading, music and outdoor activities. Our son loved her and learned a lot from her. We miss Vivien and can't wait to her watch our son in the future!

We hired Vivien to watch our 9 month old daughter in our home for approx 2 weeks. 
We were so impressed with Vivien's energy and enthusiasm for her work! She spent a lot of her time singing, playing, reading and practicing walking with our daughter.  She even brought her own books and toys to share!  She was very good at handling nap time and meals.  She kept us updated with text throughout the day (nap time, meals, diaper changes, and fun photos of them playing together.)
She is very sweet and you can tell she loves working with kids. Vivien comes with a lot of knowledge and experience, and as a first time parent,  I found her suggestions to be very helpful. 
It was really comforting knowing how much attention our daughter was getting. I would definitely rehire Vivien and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for childcare.

We've hired Vivien a few times to watch our 16-month-old. She's terrific. Communicates effectively prior to coming over, keeps us informed by text message while watching our son, and leaves us with tips to be more effective parents (which we gratefully appreciate). We were reassured both by the Care.com reviews (which we second) and by her extensive childcare experience. We feel safe letting her take our son around San Francisco, and look forward to working with her again in the future.

We hired Vivien to watch our infant during bedtime while we had date night while visiting SF. Vivien arrived at our hotel ahead of schedule and was very warm, kind and caring. We spent about 20 minutes before leaving to put the baby down and make sure the baby and Vivien were acquainted before leaving. We felt very comfortable leaving our baby with Vivien for the night, she made us feel right at ease. Vivien showed a lot of concern for our baby and we really appreciated that. She did everything we had asked and more! We would absolutely recommend her and plan on doing so for any friends or family visiting the city. I hired Vivien to watch our daughter for one night. I can recommend her. She showed up on time and played with our daughter and then put her to bed. I would have given her 6 stars if she had texted us back on the day to confirm, but that was fine since she showed up about 10 minutes early. Thank you!

Vivian arrived early and texted me later on in the night to let me know that my son was asleep. She was kind, calm and seemed great with our son, despite him being very cranky from a time change and an ear infection. However, Vivien did not follow any of our instructions for bedtime. I asked for: diaper change to an overnight diaper, put in sleep sack, brush teeth, turn on sound machine, put in crib. I verbally explained the instructions, showed her everything (demonstrated how to turn on the sound machine and laid out the sleep sack and overnight diaper), and I also wrote down the instructions for her. When I got home my son had not had his diaper changed, was not in a sleep sack, his sound machine was not turned on, and she put a bathmat over him in his crib. I let her know that I was frustrated that these things were not done and that he peed through his diaper and PJ's. Also a bathmat in a crib is not SIDS safe. I would worry about asking her to follow instructions. 

We brought Vivien on board to help care for our Son on a long evening where had an event. Vivien was absolutely fantastic. She really engaged with L., kept him on his schedule, and easily adapted into our chaotic household. She also helped tidy, put things away, making our evening out one that had absolutely no worries. Will absolutely hire her again. 






























Vivian was great - launched right in, handled both of our kids well, handled the chaos of our household well, and even found other things to do when the kids were sleeping (like much needed cleaning/folding).  Would definitely hire her again.

Vivien was great and really engaged with our two boys. We left knowing they were in good hands. I look forward to working with Vivien again soon!

Vivien helped me with back-up care. She is one of the best care givers I have ever worked with - she is professional, kind and well educated in the area of child development. I was so impressed by her - she really cares about educating the young children she works with.  Thank you Vivien!

We used Vivien for date night for our 5 month old. She arrived early, brought literature regarding age development and toys. She was very sweet and dedicated to our little guy who happened to be in an unusual fussy mood. Also seems like she has a lot of patience and was able to get baby to bed. I would use her services again and believe she is very trustworthy. 

Vivien looked after our 18 month old daughter while we enjoyed a night out. Vivien brought toys, knew songs and our exit was pain (and tear) free as she was at ease with her lovely sitter. Vivien fed her snacks, brushed her teeth and got her to sleep at a good time.
I'll definitely message Vivien next time we're in the city!

Vivien worked with us when our son was 1 month to 8 months. I can't say enough great things about Vivien. She was always totally dedicated to taking care of our son, as well as helping us around the house with light chores when our son was sleeping or playing. She is always enthusiastic, punctual, capable, and dependable. With many years of childcare experience, Vivien was always full of useful tips from child proofing our home to taking care of his new teeth. Thanks Vivien for all of your help!

Vivien worked for our family for a month as a temporary nanny taking care of our 11 month old daughter. She was wonderful!  Always on-time, full of love and energy for care giving and with lots of activities/ideas/toys/books to share. She was tireless and even did light housework when the baby was napping. Her focus and attention was always on taking the best care of our daughter, and we really appreciated her detailed notes at the end of each day telling us what our baby ate, when she slept, and things that they did together while we were at work. We felt like Vivien became a member of our family and we will definitely be contacting her again to help us out again in the future. We highly recommend Vivien to care for your child as she has many years of experience in early childhood education and would be an asset to any family in need of childcare.
