Every child is a gift from God and as parents, teachers, and caregivers we are His hands and feet in the raising of His children. I strive to create a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for this purpose :) I'm of a calmer temperament and deal intuitively with each child and there individual needs. I personally don't do screen time with kids that I care for professionally. I am a devout catholic and feel that prayer time and teaching virtue is a very important part of caring for children. For a nanny or babysitting job my approach is to find shared values and beliefs with parents and to teach these that we have in common. I'm very much for recognition & praise for good behavior, and about gently & firmly carrying out consequences for bad behavior. I feel that there is more to learn from there innocence and natural intelligence then there is to teach. And it is my belief that this is most important to protect & foster. I'm very interested in getting to know you and your family!
