About Avery

Hi, my name is Avery! I'm outgoing, hardworking, and friendly. I've loved working with kids for as long as I can remember, which is why I'm pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. Teaching and caring for kids never feels like a job-it feels like something I was made to do. I started babysitting at age 12 and have since worked as a nanny for multiple families and a nonprofit. I'm looking for a consistent, reliable summer job. Pay is important as I'm putting myself through college. I prefer caring for 1-4 kids, but I'm also open to caregiving roles for any age. I enjoy reading, painting, singing, playing guitar, and being outside. I'm passionate about youth ministry and church involvement. I'm reliable, organized, and love leaving a home better than I found it. My strengths include behavior management, creative and engaging play, and making wise, responsible decisions.
