About Maggie

I am a former caregiver with several years of experience. I previously worked at Narrows Glen Retirement Home in Tacoma as a Certified Nursing Assistant for four years while getting my degree in Social Welfare at the University of Washington, Tacoma. I worked closely with many residents- male and female and their families; and cared for residents on hospice and residents with dementia. I am very familiar with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) such as bathing, grooming, meal preparation, transfers, dressing, personal care, etc. I have been working in my current position for four years now as a Home Care Supervisor for a non profit. I work closely with many caregivers and clients and am very knowledgeable with home care. I will be going back to school in January to pursue my Masters in Social Work and I am eager to continue working in geriatrics and with veterans.
