I've always had a dream of helping people in my career. I just returned to Salt Lake City from San Diego early this month. I spent four years living in San Diego, studying Traditional Chinese Medicine and other eastern techniques and therapies. I spent the last year working as a licensed massage therapist in California. I focused on sports/injury rehabilitation using some Swedish techniques, deep tissue, an ancient Japanese technique called Tui Na, aromatherapy and many other therapies. While my degree focuses on the anatomy and physiology of the body, the teachings of TCM has an overall focus on the body/mind connection. In learning this type of work, it takes a dedicated and compassionate person to follow through with this profession and to follow their true dreams in the field. I have always related closely to those with addiction, disabilities or old-age, to those who may not realize they need a little extra attention and help to get through their trials. My time and studies in California have taught me patience, sincerity, compassion and most of all the quality of good health, happiness and life. That being said, I am open to any errands or odd jobs you may require.
