About Macy

Hi there, I'm Macy! I am graduating from UT this coming May with a BS in Human Development, I am planning on attending physician assistant (PA) school come August 2024, so I'm looking for full time employment in this next year! I have spent my summers here in Austin working as a Patient Care Technician in a pulmonary/renal Med Surg unit. I am well acquainted with 12 hour shifts, suiting up to care for patients with Covid-19, and have been blessed to be surrounded by professionals who, like I, believe in the continual pursuit of learning. I'm so grateful for their investment in me! Aside from that, I am passionate about human-centered care. I have an ever-positive spirit and persistent attention to detail. My experiences in the Human Development department bred goals of compassion and heartfelt listening within my patient interactions. I strive to be an authentic clinician who is always in a posture to learn. I look forward to hearing from you!
