About Lynne

I currently work as a Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade TA. I am also independently in charge of 14 Kindergarteners in an After-School Program, and independently created and teach a drama class to K-4th Grade, but this is on hold because of COVID. In fact, the demands of teaching virtually have morphed my job into something more akin to a regular teacher. This is a development I have enjoyed immensely. My current employment is in Albemarle County's most diverse pre-K through Grade 5 School. I am experienced in conveying new or obscure concepts/words to children by justifying actions and arranging projects in clear and interpretable form. I assign, grade, and provide encouraging feedback on HW according to children's specific needs. I enthusiastically move thought-provoking projects forward by promoting/exhibiting my own curiosity and passion for learning! I also encourage independent thinking.
