Nurturing, Energetic, And Cultured Nanny — Washington, DC
Hello Parents: I am dedicated to providing quality care for children. I provide loving and nurturing care for infants, toddlers and adolescents. I value education and thus I am a stickler on completing homework assignments correctly and on time. I will provide homework support as necessary. I have worked for school districts as a tutor for children who were behind grade level. I later began my career as a teacher's aid and instructor. I very much enjoy coming up with creative and educational activities for children. I volunteer regularly at in the nursery of homeless shelters and periodically volunteer to read to the children at Children's Hospital. I have also worked as an assistant for an in-home childcare service. My ideal placement would be as a full time nanny, however, I welcome part-time opportunities as well.

Part-time Caregiver, Homework Helper (8+ Yrs Of Teaching Experience), Weekend Babysitter — Washington, DC
Hi! I recently moved to DC with my husband, and with my background in teaching and love for children, care-giving will be a great fit for part-time work. At 12 years old, I received my first babysitting job and quickly grew close to this family and received new clients upon their referral. In high school, I had the pleasure of serving as a full-time summer nanny for that same family. During holiday breaks and summers while I was in college, I worked with students ages 2-12 at a local day school and summer camp. Upon graduating, I began my career as a high school Spanish teacher. Moving to DC on short notice for my husband's job has put this 7 year teaching career on pause and presented a wonderful new phase of life. All of my experiences with children have equipped me with the ability to problem solve on the fly, relate to a variety of personalities and simply find joy in time spent with children. I am energetic, honest and dependable, and I look forward to working with you!

The ages I have cared for ranges have been anywhere from newborn to 16 years. I also have experiences as a mother's helper and am comfortable situations with young children and babies. During my time at the University of Georgia I worked at a daycare center. At this job, I was a substitute and worked varied hours in all of the different age ranges (newborn to 5 years). Part-Time Sitter Available For Babysitting Jobs — Washington, DC
I am an enthusiastic part-time babysitter seeking jobs within biking distance from Capitol Hill/NoMa/H Street DC. I am also available for date night/weekends. Before moving to DC in 2013, I was a long term substitute at a K-6 charter school in Columbus, Ohio. I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine (09-12) where I taught English and literature in grades 4-11 and led camps for students ages 6-18. While in high school and college, I taught swim lessons for the YMCA for children ages 3-15. When spending time with children, I like to be clear with rules and expectations - it is a lot easier to have fun together if everyone is on the same page. I love to run around outside, visit the library, read aloud, make music, craft, build things, and check homework with the little ones. I am also available for cleaning/housekeeping (folding laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc), meal prep (I cook bulk meals for myself each week), organization, and pet care (cats).
