I am a government contractor with Integrated Finance & Accounting Solutions (IFAS) and I work at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). In my spare time, I tutor math privately and coach a girl's lacrosse team at Justice High School. My tutoring services range from 1-3 students per session and I tutor all ages. I travel to student's homes, nearby libraries, or even coffee shops for sessions. My frequency of sessions depends on each student, as every student has different needs and every parent has different expectations. I tutor some students on an "as needed" basis, and some students as often as three sessions per week. Typically I like to decide on a frequency of sessions with parents and students after our first session together.

Lindsay worked with my 11th and 12th grade (M/F) children during the 2018-19 school year. She was super patient with both kids, despite both being less than energetic regarding homework and test prep. Lindsay was able to calibrate their tutoring sessions to fit my kid's mood at a given time in order to ensure a successful session. Lindsay followed up and demonstrated concern leading to re-calibration based on the grades that both kids were achieving. Also Lindsay was super responsive to me in terms of scheduling requests and progress reports. She has a "non-teacher-like" demeanor and was friendly in her approach. I strongly recommend her - and in fact after she successfully started with one child, I terminated the other child's tutor so he could work with Lindsay as well.
