About Adriana

I studied biochemistry at UCLA and continued onto nursing school in 2015. I recently relocated to the DMV area and am currently tutoring & launching a start-up in private patient advocacy/medical case management I have experience tutoring K-12 & college students, as well as students with learning disabilities & special needs. I was a classroom teacher at a private school for 2 years- Middle School math/science & resource teacher (grades 4-8). I am bilingual in my native languages of English and Spanish. I also dabble in French, Arabic, and Ukrainian. 16+ years of tutoring experience, including 13 years SAT/ACT prep tutor and proctor. Teaching/Tutoring experience with students in the following subjects: General study skills, College Essay Preparation, College Counseling, Reading, English, English as a Second Language (ESL), Math through Pre-Calculus, General Science, Biology, Chemistry, Spanish, History, World Cultures, Essay Writing Techniques, Test Preparation, and more.
