Hi! I have been a part time pet sitter for over 10 years, and I'm able to take care of a variety of dogs, cats, and other household pets. I have experience in multi-day and overnight sitting, as well as daily walking/care. I'm an enthusiastic animal lover and love every pet big or small! I'm also athletic, so I enjoy running around with the dogs and playing with them. I am a very friendly, responsible, patient, and respectful person. I am currently a Senior Digital Marketing Manager in Bethesda, MD and I am available to help out early mornings or after work (I leave work at 4) as well as weekends. I provide pet care at your house. I love animals, grew up with a house full of dogs of all sizes and used to volunteer taking care of farm animals at a friend's ranch. So if you need a horse-sitter, that is also me! I don not have any paid experience but I do have good references that you can get in touch if you think it is necessary. Besides walking/hanging out with your pet, I can also bath them (if needed) and am willing to pet-sit overnight in case you're going on vacation. I am available for both one-time jobs or regularly scheduled. I do not own a car but I use public transportation and would not mind if I need to call a public transpo to get to you. My transportation coasts WILL NOT be extra charged. I plan my hourly rate with that in mind so you do not need to worry.

I currently work as an elementary teacher in Arlington. During the summer months, my availability is very flexible. However, during the year I am at school usually from 8-4:30, but could possibly travel to close locations on an occasional lunch break. If it is during the school year, I would prefer dogs that are comfortable staying home alone during the work day. I have a car and am willing to travel to your home or to host your best friend in my apartment. My apartment has elevator access, so it is accessible for senior dogs. There is space outside to run/walk around or we can walk around the pedestrian friendly neighborhood or head to the dog park! Previously, I have worked for a small dog-walking/pet care business in Arlington. In this role I walked dogs and did check-ins for cats (feeding, cleaning the litter box, playtime). Also, I have done several overnight stays with various dogs in Arlington and Alexandria. I have my own pup so I understand the importance of animals and pet care. I always do a meet & greet beforehand to meet both face to face so you feel comfortable with me in your home! After each walk/check-in I love send a quick picture as well!
