About Lisa

My name is Lisa and I have a lengthy history of providing quality child care for children. I have over 30+ years of child care experience by serving in different capacities and I have previously owned a day care. As a professional and caring part-time caregiver, my philosophy is as follows. I believe that children naturally thrive in loving, nurturing environments that offer countless opportunities for them to learn, as well as to play. I believe that small children in particular learn best through play and I foster their learning by allowing them to engage in both free play and structured activities that are in accordance with their developmental stage. I believe that parents have the right to decide what is right for their children and I strive to adhere to the principles that the parents establish for their children. I am also a firm believer in continuing my education in regards to childcare and the developmental psychology of children. To demonstrate such, I am working towards the completion of my Infant/Toddler Care Certificate at Central Piedmont Community College. I am certain that you will be pleased with my level of expertise.
