Lisa starting watching our son when I went back to work (he was about 5 months old) until we moved when he was 1.5 years old. I could honestly tell that she loves being with kids from the stories she told about the previous kids she cared for and through her interactions with our son. Our son was always legitimately happy to see her. She was very thoughtful about his safety and wellbeing. She did do a lot of activities with him and always brought up ideas about other developmental or fun activities. She always got him outdoors when the weather was good, whether it was frequent walks or adventuring to different parks. She’s was also very thoughtful about prepping food and making him meals. She would suggest ingredients and make lots of healthy and age-appropriate items. She also communicated really well about any food reactions or digestive issues she noticed or experienced with him. She was one of the most helpful people in my life - helping with his food, laundry, dishes, and more. She made it so easy to transition back to work, and I felt extremely comfortable throughout the day knowing that he was being cared for by her. Even with all that, the care and love she showed towards my son made working with Lisa a no brainer.
