About Leighton

Bringing a decade of experience and clinical expertise to childcare, I am excited to offer my skills as seasonal childcare support to the families of Charlotte. Throughout my late teenage years into young adulthood I have garnered experience through multiple years as a camp counselor, work in nurseries and daycares, and now in my everyday work as a Speech-Language Pathologist. I am currently working in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system and am excited to spend my summer with the children of the Charlotte community. Communication with you is important; I will provide regular updates via text or phone call, and I follow your preferred method. I love to engage with the children I work with in their preferred activities and provide enrichment through multi-sensory learning experiences. I'm happy to help with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. I look forward to the possibility of spending a summer of fun with you and yours!
