About Lauren

I recently graduated with my English Literature BA (Dec. 2019), and earned Summa Cum Laude for my honors thesis. I was a high scorer on PRAXIS 5038 (English) and ACT English, Reading, and Writing. I am looking for tutoring jobs before I begin my Masters program in Curriculum and Instruction this summer. I am experienced in tutoring, and do best with literature, writing, and reading comprehension. I am passionate about learning! I have tutored in the CU writing center for a year, and I teach at an alternative high school once a week. Currently, I work as a para-professional part time at a high school for at-risk students. I also have experience writing for university newspapers and recently completed an Honors Thesis in the CU English Department. I look forward to working with you!
