About Laura

Hello, Are your kids having a hard time focusing on their work? Are they confused but don't ask for help? Are they bored by the level of work and need to keep moving forward? I can help. I went back to school when my sons were in high school. Before that I worked at a horse farm in Concord. I taught at Dearborn Academy (a centralized special ed middle/high school) in Arlington. Later I shifted to Mass Bay Community College in Wellesley teaching Freshman English. Now I would love to get back to younger kids. I love to read with kids, sit at a table doing math with objects, researching history and science. I can adjust to how they learn, teach them manners, help them clean up their rooms. I do believe in discipline using tone of voice and stance. I also love to go outside to play and don't fear getting dirty or wet. We could go for a walk, canoeing, riding bikes or horses.
