Education: - Smith College, B. A., Education and Child Study - Lesley University, M. Ed., Mathematics Education Teaching License: - Mathematics, grades 1-8 Experience: I have worked with upper elementary and middle school students teaching math for the past 9 years. In my last position I was a middle school math intervention teacher. In this position I used data to target exactly where my students needed additional supports. My approach is to use a combination of direct instruction, hands-on activities, and project-based learning to foster engagement, growth and confidence. In my new position I will be teaching Algebra 1 at the high school level. Pricing is negotiable depending on the needs of your child. Essentially, the more planning needed to prepare for sessions, the higher the cost.
