Kylee made a great impression at our interview. The one reference I was able to talk to spoke highly of her. Based on that, we offered her the job. Unfortunately, after accepting the job, she did not respond to further communications about completing paperwork to get started or confirming her start date. After multiple check-ins, she told us she was ill. She delayed starting by 1 week. Then, a day before starting, said she would be moving out of town. She is young and this suggests a bit of immaturity in not being up front about her situation.
