About Kristy

I'm a nurturing individual with a deep-rooted passion for fostering the growth and development of children. My journey into caregiving stems from my desire to make a positive impact on their lives and support families in need. With over a year of experience, I'm comfortable caring for up to three children of varying ages, from infants to preteens. My patient, calm, and creative nature allows me to connect with children effortlessly. I believe in open and honest communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's day and promptly addressing any concerns. While I follow the parents' lead in enforcing household rules, I excel at engaging children in a variety of games, from outdoor sports to educational activities that enhance their learning. I hold CPR training and am more than willing to assist with tasks such as cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I am currently working towards a degree in Elementary Education at Oakland University.
