I am currently employed as a special education teacher. I have dual bachelor's degree in elementary education and special education. I'm currently enrolled in an accelerated program to obtain my master's degree as a learning behavior specialist, level 2 and a certified BCBA. I worked for several years as a paraprofessional, before I became a teacher. As a paraprofessional, I got a lot of training in ABA therapy. After graduation, the first school I worked at, I was a special education teacher as well as a transition coordinator. My current position is special education teacher for a self contained k-5 classroom. I love learning about the special education field, as well as helping those out that I can. I find such joy in watching children progress and reach their maximum potential. If I have left anything out, please do not hesitate to ask and I look forward to speaking with you!
