Hey, my name is Kristen. I am married to my high school sweet heart and together we have a 4-year-old son. I am from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and have been stationed here with my boys for about 3 years now. I have a dog (Akita/Husky mix) named Yogi who has been apart of my family for about 2 and 1/2 years and he is definitely my wild "child." In my husband's line of work, I've learned to cherish every moment I have with him and especially the time we have together with our son. My primary goal in creating a profile on this site is to be able to participate in providing for my family on a financial level. I hope that with the connections I make through this site I will be able to achieve that. My secondary goals include broadening my relations, building on my independence, and overall expanding my experience. I consider myself to be down to Earth, easy to talk to, family oriented, honest, friendly, reliable, understanding, laid back, flexible, organized, creative, caring, open minded, reasonable, attentive, loving, spontaneous, clean/neat and you can always find me cracking a joke and laughing about one thing or the other. I would also like to say that I will always stand up for what is right, even if that means I'm standing alone. I've had several jobs in various fields: retail, driving, child care, house hold care. I have to say that out of any of the jobs I've ever had, working at a day care was my favorite. I worked with children ranging from infants (3 months) to toddlers (2 years). I have also continued several of the relationships I've built with the families of the children I have provided care for outside of the daycare facility. There is an enormous amount of trust that goes into allowing someone else to provide, protect and care for your child. To confidently feel like you have found that in someone is worth cherishing. I understand that now more than ever after having my son. From the other aspect, knowing that a parent/s feel that way towards you, is incredibly humbling.
