Experience: 10 yrs
With over a 10 years of diverse healthcare experience, I'm currently pursuing an RN program to expand my skills and better serve my patients. I've provided compassionate care in hospitals and private homes. My background in emergency and intensive care seamlessly transitions to home settings, emphasizing personalized attention. I am described as trustworthy and passionate, I assess my patient needs and create plans for improving their quality of life. I can integrate into any given situation or settings but also improve it through assessing the patient and knowing what their needs are and create a plan to enhance their standard of living. One thing you should know about me is that my patients immediately see the value of the care I offer. I really try as much as possible not to get attached to any of my patients but it is hard not to considering the care I offer. If you need references, please feel free to ask. Highly skilled with glioblastoma and other cancer related illnesses.
Kingsley was a blessing and amazing presence and support for our family and esp. my dad, after his stroke. Kingsley went above and beyond to come and meet my dad and mom, to make sure they were comfortable with him and for him to fully understand our needs and the situation (that was very unclear, with daily changing needs, as we tried to navigate many unknowns). When my dad got out of the hospital, he was there to work as soon as we needed him. He is thoughtful, in-tune and seeks to understand the complexity of the situation. He is eye-to-eye present with those he serves. He was patient, calm and attentive to dad's needs. My dad was so comfortable with him and felt able to ask him questions to gain understanding when he was confused. Kingsley was consistent, thoughtful and understanding in answering dad's questions and working to help him feel calm, confident and empowered. Kingsley worked to help dad, giving him support but also enough space to challenge him to regain strength and independence. Kingsley was able to work 12 hour shifts that allowed for consistency and solid transition as he returned home and moved back to greater independence. We are grateful for Kingsley being there for our family and his heart of service. Thank you so much Kingsley!
