About Kevin

Hello! My name is Kevin and and I am a certified elementary school teacher! I teach 5th grade during the school year and work at for a camp during the summer. I graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education and am currently pursuing my masters at the same institution with a content focus in STEM. I believe in a holistic approach to education as well as childcare that addresses social, emotional, and academic growth. I believe each child deserves a champion to celebrate each of their victories, build their confidence, and promote independence. Some ways I do this is by keeping kids active, encouraging healthy choices, and scaffolding their learning by using every day situations that encourage critical thinking, problem solving, and literacy skills.
