I went to FIT in NYC for Fine Arts and have professional development in Montessori, Waldorf and RIE methods, as well as New York State TA certifications. I am also certified in adult, child, and infant CPR, first aid and AED by the American Red Cross. I am currently working as a TA on an as needed basis at Southampton Elementary School and in my summers off I am the art camp director at Southampton Youth Services. I am seeking to share my free time with families in need, providing dependable care and a lasting connection. I aspire to model the pedagogies I have studied in both my early ed and art careers in order to encourage a love of learning, creativity, and mindfulness within the collective. Katarina is INCREDIBLE, and I could not recommend her more. She is warm, attuned, and intuitive, and met our son exactly where he was. I especially appreciated her ability to set loving boundaries with so much respect and warmth. Our son loved being with her—he would even happily say, “Bye, Mom!” when I left, which is so rare! Katarina was the first person to get him down for a nap and bedtime outside of mama and papa. It’s such a gift to leave your child with someone who makes him feel so comfortable and cared for. It was a delight to have Katarina in our home.
