Caregiver, Tutor, Errand And Odd Jobs I am a college student with a unique mix of skills and experience. CPR/First Aid certified; have taught swim lessons to children of all ages. I taught children ages 12-18 months at Rainbow Connection Daycare, and now work for East Valley School District as an elementary school teacher s aid. It s a substitute job, so my hours are very flexible and allow me to be free evenings and weekends. I have training in Early Childhood Development and am working on getting my Childhood Development Training (CDA). I also have a cleared, portable background check which I am happy to show to families (I understand how necessary safety is in childcare!) I am an art major and love to bring creativity both in work and play with children...

Kendall's was my student when she was in high school. She was an A student, diligent, open to advice, and team-oriented. I have a counseling degree as well as teaching credentials and was facilitating "groups" at the time. Kendall and her sister helped me start and maintain a campus group for students, one that emphasized healthy lifestyles, especially regarding food issues. I really can't recommend Kendall highly enough. She is brave, just, and committed. She was a capable leader in the context of the group she helped me start. In addition, Kendall wrote articles on eating disorders for the school newspaper, organized the showing of documentaries pertinent to healthy eating, manned tables distributing helpful literature, promoted a dance and exercise program, and met with the counseling staff to discuss steps the school could be taking to help students with image and food issues. If this doesn't sound like your "regular" high school student, it's because Kendall wasn't. I recommend her enthusiastically and expect you will find that she will exceed your expectations.
