About Kaytlin

As a caregiver with over a decade of experience, I am passionate about nurturing children's growth and development. My patient nature enables me to create a calm and positive environment for little ones to learn and thrive. To keep parents updated, I provide written daily reports and encourage verbal communication at pickup and drop off. In addition to nanny care I have run Preschool programs in both Montessori and Reggio Emilio schools and bring bits of both methods into my care. This makes for a wonderfully supportive environment for social emotional growth as well as confidence building in daily skills. I have experience with children from 6weeks to 12years and am comfortable with mixed age groups as well as twins. I am CPR and first aid certified, went to NNU for child development and psychology, I keep up to date with all vaccines and still take masking for Covid seriously. Kaytlin was the best nanny we could have asked for. She's trained in Montessori & Regio Emilio education, best practices for feeding & snacks, and is amazing at organization. She always came up with creative ways to keep my son entertained and helped him build some great skills through practice and repetition such as cleaning up his toys, putting on his own clothes, table manners, and more. Because of her before the age of 2 he can put on his own shoes, knows how to spell his name out loud, and is way ahead of many milestones. She knows a lot about a child's developing brain and approaches them with gentle kindness and grace in all situations. She also gave me a great detail breakdown of each day. She planned out new activities each week, kept a great routine which my son now follows when she's not around, and is beloved by him. We will miss her once we move to full-time daycare. Any family who hires her will see their kids blossom.
