I have lived in Pittsburgh, PA for almost 10 years and worked as a PA Certified Supports Broker for a local non profit. I taught adult daily living and social skills to youth transitioning into adulthood with intellectual disabilities. I have 24 years of experience working with all ranges of disabilities from age 3 to 107! I now work at a nursing home in the North Hills as an activity manager and a social services associate. I've been working here since 2020 (my pandemic job) and truly enjoy what I do! Certifications: CPI, CPI/autism, SAMA, First Aid/CPR and Supports Broker through PA ODP. In Texas, I was an in home parent trainer for early childhood children with autism (newly diagnosed at age 3), a 14 year employee with the Special Education dept of a large school district. I also did contract work for the state of TX providing respite for parents and I did private ADHD coaching for all ages.
