Ever since I was 12 years old I was interested in child care. My first babysitting job was around that age to care for a family friend for a summer. For the next 10+ years I've had experience volunteering to watch and care for young children. 7 years of age and younger is the range that I am most used to caring for and the age range that I am most comfortable with. I also worked in a daycare for some time working in the infant room as an assistant teacher. Those kids were the highlight of every day! I'm experienced with diapering, feeding, fun activities, enrichment activities, attentiveness, and patience. Over the past 3 years, I've been certified and employed as an EMT in the state of Pennsylvania so I'm certified in first aid, BLS care, CPR for any age, critical thinking skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
