About Kayla

Looking forward to meeting some awesome kiddos and helping local families! Respecting guardians' beliefs and ensuring safety are my ultimate goals of care. I am CPR and first aid certified. I was a special day classroom aide for Arcata Elementary for 1 year, an after-school supervisor for Eureka City Schools for 2 years, and worked as a personal care attendant for 2 years. I am also working on a master's in elementary education, as I love helping children learn emotionally and creatively. I love conducting art projects, playing games, and reading books. I have a lot of experience helping to guide assignments or studying. I am fun-loving but patient enough to help children see how to better handle a situation. I enjoy cooking and making sure everyone is well taken care of. I also enjoy organizing and maintaining a clean space. I am open to a regular schedule or one-time jobs.
